Hi, I’m Sooz. I have been training animals professionally for over 20 years. My career began quite traditionally in a local riding school. I gained British Horse Society qualifications and worked in the equine industry for many years. As is often the case, I ended up with a horse who did not respond to traditional methods, and I discovered positive reinforcement training. From there, I studied equine behaviour and became a Certified Horse Behaviour Consultant with the International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultants (IAABC), and an Accredited Animal Behaviourist with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC).

My interest in animal behaviour developed and I started clicker training with my own dogs. and am passionate about helping others to train their beloved canine friends in an ethical and sympathetic way. I am now also an IAABC Certified Dog Behaviour Consultant and an accredited Canine Hoopers UK Instructor.

My current animal total is 6 dogs, 4 cats and 5 horses so I am very used to managing not just multi dog but multi species households. I understand the difficulties that come along with having so many animals and have developed ways to allow everyone to live in harmony.

I enjoy all aspects of animal training and love working with different species. I use clicker training with my horses, dogs and cats and learn so much from each and every one of them.
